Are you and your dog, cat or small mammal interested in becoming a PET THERAPY TEAM (16 years-old and under can be certified with parents) or a GROUP LEADER?
People Animals Love (PAL) is looking for PET THERAPY TEAMS (16 years-old and under can be certified with parents) and GROUP LEADERS. PAL is a non-profit tax-exempt 501-(c)3 organization based in Washington, DC that brings people and animals together, brightening the lives of the lonely, easing the pain of the sick and enriching the world of at-risk children.
PAL believes in the therapeutic benefits of animals for people in need. For 26 years, PAL has spearheaded activities that have improved the lives of thousands of residents in the metropolitan Washington DC area. Research has shown that dogs and other companion animals can have enriching and healthful benefits to at-risk children and teenagers, the mentally and physically ill, and the elderly in nursing homes and hospitals. PAL is dedicated to bringing companion animals to those who need them most through a variety of programs.

PAL is also in great need of GROUP LEADERS. Group leaders are in charge of overseeing the pet therapy teams on outings to hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
