We realize that the best way to reduce animal abuse, homelessness, and pet overpopulation is through humane education. MCHS offers programs for all ages to help teach pet responsibility and to encourage the special bond between humans and animals.

Whether it is by celebrating your birthday at the shelter or taking a tour, we are here to help make your visit an enjoyable one, as well as an educational one!

MCHS also has many opportunities for those wishing to do service projects to help benefit our shelter animals.
