Call the shelter to check on the availability of a specific animal. Please have the cat or small animal's name or the dog's ID number and the 6 digit AIL number (A######) available.

LOST DOGS: If you have lost or found a dog, here is a website where you can post pictures and a description: http://www.facebook.com/LostFoundDogs.MetroDC. This site can also be used to share sightings and tips, so that lost dogs can be reunited with their humans.
 Find us at Helping Lost Pets. This website is totally free and is map based. Your pet listing will appear on the map and be broadcast to other websites. You can even print posters from the website too.
